(Mimulus guttatus)

Mimulus is the blossom of fears, those we can realise and clearly define. We usually fear what we do not understand or what we dislike. This Remedy helps us to overcome those fears and to take on the challenges of life with unruffled calm and self-possession, and even allows us to laugh at our own woes and hardship. Mimulus-people are often shy and retiring and have difficulty with communication. They easily blush and when worried and nervous they might stammer or stutter. As soon as they overcome this condition, they can be very courageous, with a cheerful and serene vision and attitude.

Dr Bach's description

Fear of worldly things... The fears of everyday life. These people quietly and secretly bear their dread, they do not freely speak of it to others.
